"Rush Hour" director (and super nice guy) Brett Ratner has teamed up with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to right the wrongs of this year's earlier "Hercules Movie That Shall Not Be Named," with the more simply titled and far more promising "Hercules," out July 25, from Paramount. We have an exclusive preview to share with you today, and trust me, it's a lot more dreamy than one of the 12 labors.

Hercules Preview: Meet Irina Shayk

In the preview, we get introduced to Irina Shayk, a Sports Illustrated model making her acting debut in "Hercules." It's safe to say that she would probably be worth fighting some kind of horrible Greek myth monster just to stand beside, let alone marry. As Ratner explains in the clip: "Hercules is a superstar. He's the most famous man in all of Greece. And he would have the most beautiful woman on his arm." Shayk certainly fits the bill.

She looks exotic and gorgeous, in an indefinable way, and as far as big screen debuts go, it couldn't get much flashier than "Hercules," a rousing period epic stuffed with superb actors in supporting roles (people like John Hurt, Ian McShane and Rufus Sewell) and sophisticated visual effects that go a long way in capturing the grandeur and majesty of the original mythological tales.

Oh, and did we mention she was really hot? "She has an amazing look," Johnson says in the clip, in his typically earnest way (we swear to god that if he decided to stage a one-man remake of "The Diary of Anne Frank," we would be there opening day). "She sure as hell didn't disappoint."

Towards the end of the clip, Shayk gets to have a piece of the action. "I never dreamed to be a part of a big movie," Shayk says, clearly awestruck. "It's Greek mythology and I have a Greek name so it's destiny." Destiny is a term that certainly fits in this tale of gods and monsters.

Before you go, here's a last look at Irina Shayk as Megara.
