unauthorized saved by the bell storyThere's no denying that, when it premieres, Lifetime's "Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story" will be the guiltiest of pleasures -- no matter how many over-the-top liberties it takes. Actually, it'll likely be great because of how much it veers from reality. How do we know this? Because the first clip from the TV movie was released today, and it's a doozy.

In the footage, unleashed by BuzzFeed, we get a glimpse at the stars of SBTB at a photo shoot, their dysfunctional group dynamic on full display. That is to say a highly exaggerated, infighting-filled group dynamic that is as fun to watch as it is unbelievable: Zack is over it, Lisa is jealous of Kelly, Jessie tries to keep the peace, and Screech just wants to have muscles like AC. Hey, it's unauthorized for a reason.

While it's hard to believe that there was this much animosity and competition on the set, it's fun to think that there was. We need to believe that a show with such a squeaky clean image had a ton of behind-the-scenes drama.

The sure-to-be-campy fun of the "Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story" premieres September 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime. You can watch the clip below, or over at BuzzFeed.com.
