By now, you've seen the leaked "Avengers: Age of Ultron" trailer, but now Marvel has unleashed a gorgeous, high-res version, so you can soak in Ultron, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver in all their vengeance-filled, HD glory.

The trailer, which was originally meant to debut with next week's episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," is far darker, bleaker, and -- dare we say -- deadlier than 2012's "Avengers," with James Spader delivering the creepy goods with his over-the-top, nightmare-inducing voice work for new uber-nemesis Ultron. Most of the trailer is comprised of the same footage screened at Comic-Con this year -- not that we're complaining. This time around, however, it's a bit more polished and bit more, well, awesome.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" -- written and directed by Joss Whedon, and starring Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth -- hits theaters May 1, 2015.
