From the looks of "Avengers: Age of Ultron," the forthcoming, frothily anticipated superhero epic that reteams Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth), along with new heroes Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor Johnson), will be chock full of cameos and references to the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. In that extended bit of the trailer that premiered during last week's "Agents of SHIELD" episode, we got a glimpse of War Machine (Don Cheadle) and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and we know that Vision (Paul Bettany) will be a big part of the movie, with undisclosed cameos likely to surface in the months and week's ahead of the film's May 1st, 2015 release date.
Now a couple of those cameos have been spoiled by one of the actors.
If you don't want to know, head back now! To Avengers Tower, perhaps...
While speaking to British newspaper The Telegraph, Idris Elba, who plays Asgardian gatekeeper Heimdall in the "Thor" movies, has revealed that both he and (wait for it ladies) Tom Hiddleston have filmed brief roles in "Aveners: Age of Ultron." He told the paper: "I'm in Avengers. And I'm doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, and they're like, [whispers] - 'Aren't you [meant to be] in Ibiza?'" (Elba, for reasons that have never been made entirely clear, took up a DJ residency role in Ibiza over the summer and so therefore filmed his bit at the conclusion of filming, towards the end of August.)
So there you have it – "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is going to get a little more Asgardian!
