A new teaser trailer for the upcoming fourth season of "Girls" gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the production of the show, and some insight into what's happening with our main protagonists these days.
The clip opens with Hannah (creator and star Lena Dunham) excitedly talking about the changes in her life, including whether or not to uproot and move to Iowa to attend the famed writer's workshop sans her boyfriend, Adam (Adam Driver).
"I feel like I made the right decision, which is a totally new sensation for me," she says. "I mean, I'm eating grapes as a snack!"
We also get glimpses of Marnie (Allison Williams), who's giving her singing career a real shot; Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet), who's dealing with bickering parents; and Jessa (Jemima Kirke), who's as free-spirited as ever. There's also teasing of some of this season's big guest stars, including Ana Gasteyer (who's playing Shoshanna's mom), Zachary Quinto, and Gillian Jacobs.
According to Dunham, season four will depict "the girls making smarter choices, and realizing that life is still hard." Sounds pretty accurate to us.
"Girls" will return for its fourth season at a yet-to-be-determined date.
