terminator genisys trailerAfter a teaser premiered earlier this week, the filmmakers behind "Terminator: Genisys" have wasted no time in posting a full-length trailer for the flick.

The clip seems tailor-made for diehard fans of the franchise, full of callbacks to moments from earlier movies in the series. Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) screams, "Come with me if you want to live!" Arnold Schwarzenegger delivers his iconic "I'll be back" line. And the T-1000 is here (played by Byung-hun Lee in this version) to show off his silvery body and creepy red laser eye. (That's the official scientific term, I believe.)

It all seems fairly fan service-y, though it's still unclear if this reboot of sorts will entice new fans to flock to theaters. The last couple "Terminator" flicks weren't exactly a creative or commercial success, and the plot of this one seems muddled enough to only pique the interest of those already inclined to seek out an aging Ahh-nold rehashing his most famous role.

Still, the trailer is action-packed and the film is full of interesting actors -- Clarke, Jai Courtney, and Matt Smith ("Doctor Who") chief among them -- that we're at least somewhat curious to see put their stamp on this world. (And Clarke really does look an awful lot like her predecessor, Linda Hamilton.) Color us intrigued by -- but cautious about -- this one.

"Terminator: Genisys" hits theaters on July 1, 2015.
