If there's one showrunner we wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of, it's "Sons of Anarchy" creator Kurt Sutter. Unfortunately, the finale of the long-running FX series has been spoiled, and someone is in major trouble.
A new collector's edition book that contains finale details was sent out early by accident. "Sons of Anarchy: The Official Collector's Edition," was supposed to hit shelves on December 10, a day after the show's finale on December 9, but Sutter tweeted about the mishap earlier this afternoon.
"This, my friends is a storyteller's worst nightmare," he wrote, later adding, "It was my idea for the book, so ultimately, I am to blame. So if you received a book, I apologize. I ask that you not share your wrath or pain or opinion in social media so as to not spoil the experience of others. There is no excuse for utter ineptitude. It pains me that this will be the parting memory of some fans. I hope you all tune in for the finale. It plays much better than it reads." You can read his full statement here, but be warned that it contains some rather colorful language.
Then again, if you're a fan of "SoA" and Sutter, chances are a few F-bombs won't faze you.
