If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.

Zayn Malik recently parted ways with One Direction, and Simon Cowell spoke out about his departure on "The Late Late Show." Simon joked that he was "about to jump off a cliff" when he heard the news, and that he definitely tried to make Zayn stay with the band. Also, apparently 1D's newest album is going to be the best yet. Thank god.

In slightly less dramatic, life-altering news, James Corden teamed up with Michael Douglas for a remake of "Basic Instinct," in which he played Sharon Stone. So much leg-crossing and crotch-blurring, so little time.

Tons of amazing things happened on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," but let's start with Betty White, who met a bunch of her fans –– all of whom happen to have tattoos of her face. Awkward, weird and fascinating are a few words we'd use to describe this.

Jamie Foxx also showed up on "Kimmel," and his mission was simple: to sing a bunch of creepy Tinder profiles.

Jamie also performed his new song "You Changed Me" with a surprise appearance from Chris Brown, and the audience went absolutely nuts.

Finally, over on "Late Show," Kevin James announced his return to television...on "Game of Thrones of Queens." And yes, there's a clip. And yes, it's actually really funny.
