Bill Murray Returns for 'Ghostbusters' Reboot

Earlier this year, Bill Murray dismissed rumors he'd return to the upcoming "Ghostbusters" as "crazy talk," telling David Letterman, "This is my nightmare."

Apparently he slept on it.

Murray has signed on to appear in the reboot starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones, according to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.

Murray, who starred as Dr. Peter Venkman in the 1984 original and the 1989 sequel, joins Dan Aykroyd, who earlier confirmed he shot a scene in the new version directed by Paul Feig.

No word on what role Murray will play this time.
