"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" awakened a lot of love among voters for the 2016 MTV Movie Awards. After nominations were revealed this morning, the film leads all others with 11 nominations, including Movie of the Year, Best Female Performance for Daisy Ridley, and Best Villain for Adam Driver.

In second place in the nomination total is the R-rated superhero flick "Deadpool," which boasts eight, including Movie of the Year. Those two films are joined in that category by "Avengers: Age of Ultron," "Creed," "Jurassic World," and "Straight Outta Compton."

The 2016 MTV Movie Awards, hosted by Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson, will air April 10 at 8 p.m.
