Don't expect to see Miley Cyrus on any more red carpets -- possibly ever. The singer-slash-actress recently revealed that she has sworn them off once and for all.

The new "Voice" judge sat down for an interview for the October issue of "Elle," and she explained why she isn't interested in the common celebrity practice anymore, highlighting how unnecessary she finds it.

"[A year ago] I had to do the ['A Very Murray Christmas'] premiere, and I will never do a red carpet again," she told the magazine. "Why, when people are starving, am I on a carpet that's red? Because I'm 'important'? Because I'm 'famous'? That's not how I roll. It's like a skit -- it's like 'Zoolander.'"

We can't blame Cyrus for wanting to be true to herself. Over the years, we have seen her show the public time and time again that she plays by her own rules.

It's just like her best friend Lesley said in "See You Again": "Oh, she's just being Miley."
