All good things must come to an end.

In the first teaser for "Silicon Valley" season 4, Richard makes a dramatic announcement: "I'm quitting." That comes after the events of last season, when Pied Piper's platform turned out to be a pipe dream (supported by clickfarms) and the company pivoted to focus on Dinesh's video chat app.

Now, Richard wants to leave to "build a new internet," because yeah, that sounds feasible. He wants to take the name "Pied Piper," too, and none of the guys seem to care. And of course, Jared joins Richard and they whoop it up in the garage to generate excitement. Whoooop!

As for what used to be Pied Piper, it should be interesting to see how Erlich and Big Head (who now co-own the company) run things. Probably into the ground, knowing them.

"Silicon Valley" season 4 premieres Sunday, April 23 at 10 p.m. on HBO.
