First there was "The Walking Dead," then there was "Talking Dead," and now there will soon be "Talking With Chris Hardwick."

AMC has announced that the "Walking Dead" after-show host is getting a spinoff series, Variety reports. An hour-long talk show, "Talking With Chris Hardwick" will give viewers more than just discussions of zombies. The new show will feature guests and casts from different areas of pop culture.

The network highlighted that Hardwick has proven himself on "Talking Dead," podcasts, and events like Comic Con, and more. As Joel Stillerman, president of original programming and development for AMC and SundanceTV, put it, the talk show will "allow him to do what he does best" -- namely, offer "a front row seat to some of the biggest topics in pop culture today."

We'll be seeing a lot of Hardwick once the talk show joins "Talking Dead" on AMC. "Talking With Chris Hardwick" is slated to air on Sunday nights at 11 p.m. ET/PT on evenings when there are no new episodes of "The Walking Dead" and "Fear the Walking Dead."
