Leave it to Margot Robbie to find another seriously badass heroine to play.

Fresh off of stealing the show as Harley Quinn in "Suicide Squad," the Australian actress has lined up yet another intriguing role. Robbie is set to play Maid Marian in an upcoming "Robin Hood"-inspired film, according to THR. This isn't your grandparents' version of the character, though. In the film -- aptly titled "Marian" -- the noblewoman will become a legend herself.

Written by Pete Barry, the story will show the aftermath of Robin Hood's death. Aside from the fact that the Merry Men presumably won't be feeling so merry, a crisis situation will unfold. With the threat of war coming, Marian will take the future of the kingdom and its people in her hands.

This isn't the first time Robbie has starred in a fresh take on a classic. She recently played Jane in 2016's "The Legend of Tarzan." Her resume also includes roles in "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot," "The Wolf on Wall Street," the upcoming biopic "I, Tonya," and more.

We look forward to seeing her go medieval as Marian.
