So much for suspense.

Showtime didn't leave "Billions" fans guessing whether or not the drama series would return for Season 3. The premium network announced the show's renewal just three weeks into its sophomore season, THR reports. Season 2 premiered online on Feb. 10 and aired on Showtime on Feb. 19.

The series, which comes from creators Brian Koppelman, David Levien, and Andrew Ross Sorkin, centers on the ongoing power struggle between U.S. Attorney Charles "Chuck" Rhoades Jr. (Paul Giamatti) and hedge fund manager Bobby "Axe" Axelrod (Damian Lewis). Since the beginning, they've been consistently trying to outmaneuver each other. Now that the show has been renewed again, it doesn't look like their battles will end anytime soon.

The network promised more "drama, betrayal and gamesmanship," and Showtime Networks President and CEO David Nevins made it sound like the show will only get better as it goes on.

"[Season 2] has only whetted our audience's appetite for what will come," he said in a statement.

We're ready for it.

"Billions," which also stars Maggie Siff and Malin Akerman, airs Sundays on Showtime at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
