Spotted: "Gossip Girl" reunion.

It looks like six seasons of playing Serena van der Woodsen wasn't necessarily Lively's limit. The former "Gossip Girl" star discussed the possibility of a revival of the CW drama during a recent interview with Variety, and she revealed that she is willing to consider it should the opportunity arise.

"I don't know. Why not?" she said when asked if Netflix could reboot the series.

Of course, she wouldn't reprise her role for just any revival attempt. Lively specified that she'd only want to be involved "if it was good, [and] if it made sense." Plus, signing on for several seasons doesn't sound appealing to her -- not as a mother of two.

"It sort of all depends," she said. "Would I do seven years of the show? No, because it's hard work and I've got my babies, and I don't want to be away from them that much."

Returning to New York City, though, seems like something Lively would enjoy if a "Gossip Girl" reunion came to pass.

"We had so much fun shooting and living and working in New York City," she said.

When it began airing, the series followed a group of students at an elite high school on Manhattan's Upper East Side. They eventually aged out of school, but one thing that stayed constant was a the mysterious blogger "Gossip Girl" revealing their secrets online. The person behind the blog was eventually outed, so any revival would have to deal with that.

We may never get more of the Upper East Side gang, but it's nice to know that Lively is at least willing to consider the possibility.

Xoxo.
