In possibly the most meme-able moment of this season of "Dancing With the Stars," the judges reacted in shock and horror as top-scorer Simone Biles was eliminated from the competition in last night's semi-final.

The Olympic gold-medal winner had previously faced criticism that she didn't smile enough, but the four judges still loved her -- they had just given her and partner Sasha Farber perfect 10s on both their dances.

So when they heard that Simone and Sasha were going home, the reaction was as gasp-worthy as this year's infamous Oscar mix-up.

Carrie Ann Inaba gasped aloud while Len Goodman buried his head in his hands. Bruno Tonioli looked stunned while Julianne Hough, after a moment's pause, led the applause for the departing couple.

Talking to E! afterwards, Biles said she did not see the judges' reactions, but that she heard the gasping in the audience. "We heard everyone, and I think everyone's a little bit shocked." She compared the reaction to when "Glee" star Heather Morris -- another standout who was sent home early -- was eliminated.

Biles told E! she's happy she can finally get some sleep now. "I've been going nonstop since the Olympics, so I'll have a week off!" She went out with a smile saying of their perfect scores, "We ended on a good note."

The finale is next week. Vying for Mirror Ball are Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater, Normani Kordei and Val Chmerkovskiy, and David Ross and Lindsay Arnold.
