Drew Scott better pace himself or he may shrink to nothing by the "Dancing With the Stars" Season 25 finale.

DWTS starts its Fall 2017 season this coming Monday, Sept. 18 on ABC. "Property Brothers" star Drew, 39, is paired with reigning pro champion Emma Slater. Drew is reportedly 6'4" tall, and never looked like he had any spare weight to lose, but he told Us Weekly he has already lost 27 pounds from pre-season training.

"In the last 6 weeks — because once I said I'm going to do it, I started eating a little better and doing more cardio and going in and stretching — I've lost 27 pounds already. I was actually thinking,'Should I try to do a little bit of dance lessons before?' And I was just told to do cardio and stretching and it's just shedding. I haven't been this light in over 20 years."

Drew said something similar to People:

"I haven't been this trim in probably 15-20 years and I feel great. [...] I have a strong understanding of how to adjust eating and workout habits to maximize health gains."

He explained that, with such a crazy busy schedule, he doesn't get the chance to eat well and work-out regularly.

"However upon agreeing to do DWTS, I started cutting out any of the bad foods (pizza...I miss you!!), reduced the size of meals I was eating and started doing more regular weight training, cardio and yoga."

He's really taking it seriously -- that's a good sign. People previously revealed that Drew and Emma will dance to "Our House" by Madness on Monday's premiere. Here are the other premiere night songs and dances that have been revealed so far.

DWTS Season 25 airs live, beginning Monday, Sept. 18 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
