Darkness still lurks the halls at Liberty High in the first full-length trailer for "13 Reasons Why" Season 2.

Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette) receives a Polaroid with the disturbing words "Hannah wasn't the only one" scribbled on the back. The first teaser video told us that "the tapes were only the beginning," and it seems this mystery person is using haunting Polaroid images to torment Clay and the other teens. They will lead to a sickening secret and a conspiracy to cover it up.

Clay is also having visions of the dead Hannah (Katherine Langford). Jessica (Alisha Boe) is getting bullied for speaking out about her sexual assault. Hannah's parents are seeking justice for their daughter with a lawsuit. And counselor Mr. Porter (Derek Luke) is having a major meltdown.

Season 2 will explore events beyond the novel by Jay Asher. Creator Brian Yorkey told Entertainment Weekly, "To me, there's a tremendous amount that I still want to know. I've said a few times that this show is about the way we raise boys up into men and the way we treat girls and women in our culture — and what we could do better in both cases."

"13 Reasons Why" Season 2 premieres Friday, May 18.
