Quibi has even more in the pipeline ahead of its planned 2020 launch. The upcoming streaming service is officially developing a series based on the 2003 rom-com "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," according to a new EW report.

The project will put a new spin on the old story, which centered on two ambitious professionals played by Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey. They began a relationship, each with a work-related ulterior motive, and a war of sorts ensued. The two characters in the Quibi series, however, will be trying to show that they can make a monogamous relationship last, per EW.

So far, there's no word on who will star in the series. In fact, the show still needs to be written. Guy Branum ("The Mindy Project") has been brought on board to do the job. He'll write short episodes, as Quibi will be a "quick bites" streamer designed for mobile viewing.

The upcoming series joins several other interesting projects, including a car-stunt series featuring Idris Elba and a court show with Chrissy Teigen acting as judge, among others. All that and more is due to arrive following Quibi's launch in April 2020.
