"Atlanta" isn't going anywhere just yet.

FX announced today that the series, created by and starring Donald Glover, has been renewed for a fourth season, although production hasn't even begun on Season 3.

Shooting on Seasons 3 and 4 is slated to begin in the spring. Both seasons will consist of eight episodes. Season 3 will likely debut sometime in 2020.

"This is clearly one of the best shows on television," said Eric Schrier, president of FX Entertainment at the Television Critics Association summer press tour today. "This group of collaborators and cast have created one of the most original, innovative stories of this generation and we are proud to be their partners."

The series costars Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, and Lakeith Stanfield, all of whom, like Glover, have become increasingly in-demand since the show premiered in 2016.

Season 1 of "Atlanta" was nominated for six Emmys, winning two: Outstanding lead actor in a comedy series and outstanding directing for a comedy series, with both awards going to Glover.

In its first two seasons, the series has won five Emmys out of 22 nominations.
