For over ten years Zach Galifianakis has gifted the world with “Between Two Ferns,” his bizarre interview/comedy show that ran exclusively online (thanks to Funny or Die). But later this month, he’s going beyond the studio with “Between Two Ferns: The Movie,” which premieres on Netflix on September 20th. Now that we have a first trailer, we can confirm that it is going to be just as insane as you’d imagine it would be.

The basic construct for the film (directed and co-written by series co-creator and U2 enthusiast Scott Aukerman) has Galifianakis taking his act on the road after accidentally drowning Matthew McConaughey. The list of celebrity guests is pretty staggering (yes, Keanu Reeves will be there) and it looks like its wrapped up in a sweetly strange workplace comedy, as the rest of the ‘Ferns’ crew is fleshed out. In other words: we cannot wait.
