Opening in theaters, digital, and On Demand on April 1st is the new action movie ‘Boon,’ from director Derek Presley. The movie stars Neal McDonough (‘Captain America: The First Avenger’) as the title character and also includes Tommy Flanagan (‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’), Christiane Seidel (‘The Queen’s Gambit'), Jason Scott Lee (‘Mulan’), James Madio (‘Jersey Boys’), Demetrius Grosse (‘Rampage’), and Christina Ochoa (‘Animal Kingdom’).

The film follows mercenary Nick Boon (McDonough) as he tries to atone for his life as an enforcer for a ruthless syndicate. Running from his past, Boon moves to a remote area in the pacific northwest where he meets a struggling widow (Seidel) and her son. When he finds the pair living in fear of a criminal kingpin (Flanagan), Boon realizes the only way to protect them is to do what he does best: Kill.
