Asabea Britton

Asabea Helen Sophia Britton, born July 5, 1988, in Stockholm, Stockholm County, is a Swedish midwife, public educator and influencer. Since 2018, she runs the Instagram account @asabea, where she educates people about pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding and other issues in reproductive health. In March 2022, the account has almost 80,000 followers.

In addition to Instagram, she also writes longer articles on her blog and runs the podcast "Systrarna Britton" together with her sister doula Opokua Britton. The podcast revolves around topics such as pregnancy, birth, postpartum, parenting, toddler life and sex. The sisters also hold childbirth preparation courses inspired by hypnobirthing together.

In 2022, Asabea Britton debuted as a children's book author with the book "Hur blev jag till? Och hur kom jag ut?" published at Rabén & Sjögren.
