Keizo Kanie was a distinguished Japanese actor celebrated for his notable contributions to cinema. His remarkable talent garnered him accolades, including the esteemed award for best supporting actor at the 1st Yokohama Film Festival, recognizing his exceptional performances in films like Angel Guts: Red Classroom (1979) and The Nineteen-Year-Old's Map (1979).
His remarkable acting prowess continued to shine, earning him another best supporting actor award at the 12th Yokohama Film Festival for his roles in Ready to Shoot (1990) and Boku to, bokura no natsu (1990). Tragically, he passed away on March 30, 2014, at the age of 69, succumbing to stomach cancer.
