Leon Dicks Biography
Leon Dicks is a British actor born April 7th, 2002 who is most known for his role in how to make tea: project tea pot (2022), Underdeveloped (2022) and Ctrl (2023). Leon's acting career began October 2022, when he starred as a side character in how to make tea: project tea pot (2022) which was a comedy short film based around a plot of how to make tea but with funny spins on it.
The short film was well received with around 85% audience score. Leon did not play a lead in this project, however based on the modest success of the short film, it managed to kickstart a comedy series called underdeveloped (2022). Leon would have one of the three lead roles in the show. The show was statistically the most successful project that Leon had been apart of but due to poor reviews and audience reception, the show was cancelled after only 2 episodes with around a 53% audience score.
There was speculation of rebooting the show due to the modest success rate, however there were creative differences with the writers and the show was officially cancelled. Despite poor reviews, the fans of the show were upset by the news. Leon's career continued and in April 2023, He starred as the solo lead in an experimental short film PARANOIA (2023).
He also was credited as a writer on the film. Because of marketing reasons, the film did not reach the same success the projects he starred in before did. The movie had gone through 2 different director's cuts, and eventually got pulled from official release. Leon dicks did not let the negativity surrounding the last two projects he was apart of affect him.
So Leon then continued to star as the solo lead in short film Ctrl (2023). Ctrl (2023) was shot the same time that PARANOIA (2023) was and the footage was used and edited/produced by the director Sebastian Aris. Ctrl has received good reviews so far, and despite the short run time, it is proving to be potentially the best work Leon has acted in. Leon Dicks has been in quite a few projects since his career started, but there is still more on the horizon for the young actor.
Leon will be a co-lead in Sebastian Aris's upcoming short-film sully novella (2023), where he will take on the character Lenny Dice. It looks like it may be the best project he has been apart of yet.
