We've all kept close tabs on the main cast of "Harry Potter," but there are a few stars who might have escaped your notice in the series. Some have gone on to "Game of Thrones" and "Star Wars." Did you catch them all?
Before the "Ex Machina" star was really on our radar, he was one of the Weasley redheads. He played eldest brother Bill in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" and "Part 2." As you'll recall, his wedding to Fleur Delacour, was rudely disrupted by Death Eaters. Real-life Dad Brendan Gleeson had previously starred as Mad-Eye Moody.
Forgot that the future Game of Thrones" star appeared as Hermione's mother in the first part of "Deathly Hallows?" Perhaps Hermione's spell to erase her parents' memory wiped your memory as well!
If you were born after, say, 1975, it's likely you're not familiar with this '60s It Girl, who won a Best Actress Oscar for her role in 1965's "Darling," the year she also starred in the epic "Doctor Zhivago." She played Madame Rosmerta, the landlady of the Three Broomsticks pub, in "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban."
You might not have recognized the diminutive actor, best known for his role as Mini-Me in the "Austin Powers" films, as Gringotts goblin Griphook in the first "Harry Potter" movie. That's probably because he was voiced by Warwick Davis of "Willow" fame. The British Davis took over the role in subsequent films.
Of course you remember Gryffindor Dean Thomas, but did you realize that he grew up to be Wes Gibbins on ABC's "How to Get Away With Murder?"
Before he was junkie Nick Clark on "Fear the Walking Dead," Dillane was Tom Riddle (aka Young Voldemort) in "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."
This Quidditch-loving lad, a Gryffindor who's in the same class as Fred and George Weasley, grew up to be the one-man party Magnitude on "Community." He also played Sid on "Galavant."
Did the Weird Sisters in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" look familiar? Lead singer Myron Wagtail is Jarvis Cocker, lead singer of Pulp. And that's Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood as lead guitarist Kirley Duke and real-life bandmate Phil Selway as Orsino Thruston on drums.
