Jason Momoa had a short but memorable stint on "Game of Thrones," playing Khal Drogo opposite Emilia Clarke's Daenerys (a.k.a. Khaleesi, a.k.a. Mother of Dragons) in season one. And while his character met a pretty definitive end during the debut season, Momoa can't help but periodically tease fans that the Khal is about to pop up again (like he did in season two via a Dany vision). Now, with a recent pair of Instagram posts, the actor is stirring up new suspicion that the Dothraki ruler will ride once more.

Momoa shared a snap on Instagram over the weekend featuring himself enjoying a pint of Guinness alongside "GOT" showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, prompting speculation that the threesome were plotting something "Thrones"-related for the actor. And that's not all: The hang-out also took place in Ireland, one of several international locales where the show films. In another post, Momoa said he was "so happy to be back" in the country.

As fan site Winter Is Coming notes, "Thrones" isn't shooting right now (producers are waiting for the winter months, since the constantly-referenced season has finally arrived on the series), though it is in pre-production. Could Momoa, Benioff, and Weiss be planning Drogo's triumphant return? (And perhaps scouting locations together?) Or is there a simpler explanation? (Like Momoa already being in Europe while shooting "Justice League: Part One.")

The site also cautions that Momoa has teased such an event before, but nothing has materialized. In now-deleted Instagram posts shared last season, Momoa used the same sign-off as these most recent snaps, "Aloha Drogo." He also wrote "See you soon" and "See you in Ireland" on posts about Daenerys (which were also deleted). Those disappearing posts could mean nothing, or they could mean that producers didn't want to spoil anything about a potential Drogo cameo.

Fans will have to wait until summer 2017 to find out. In the meantime, we'll keep an eye on Momoa's Instagram account for more clues.
