We're still a long way off from the premiere of "Game of Thrones" season seven, and the cast's continued insistence on dropping cryptic hints about what happens in the new episodes doesn't make the wait any easier. The latest star talking up Season 7 is Emilia Clarke, and her hints about what's in store for fans are tantalizing to say the least.

Clarke chatted with TVLine while walking the red carpet at the Emmys on Sunday, where "Thrones" once again took home top honors in the drama category. When asked about costar Maisie Williams's promise that "sh*t gets real" in Season 7, the actress confirmed that assessment.

"It's ridiculous," Clarke told TVLine of the new season. " ... Every single word is a spoiler, almost. It's ridiculous."

The actress went on to say that season seven "topped" season six, and includes another "epic" battle sequence that is arguably even more impressive than that in the Emmy-winning "Battle of the Bastards" episode. That grand scope is part of the reason why the new episodes' premiere date is delayed so long, Clarke told the site, since they necessitate a long shoot. As for what Clarke hopes happens with her character, she said she'd love to see Daenerys interact with more of the show's other females, but admitted, "I'm not sure that's going to happen."

We can't wait to see what all of the actress's teases mean for the series. "Game of Thrones" season seven will debut sometime during summer 2017.
