WHEN PEOPLE HAVE TO PAY PEOPLE TO KEEP THEM FROM SHOOTING THEM, THAT'S L IFE IN THE GHETTO. WHEN A MAN COMES INTO A RESTUARANT AND SHOOT UP THE CEILING TO EXTORT MONEY, THAT'S GHETTO OR POVERTY, EITH... ER ONE. BUT IT IS TRUE HUMAN GHETTO BEHAVIOR ALL OVER THE WORLD. AND, WHAT SHOULD YOU DO IF SOMEONE COMES IN SHOOTING UP THE PLACE--i FEEL AND THINK, IF YOU HAVE A GUN, SHOOT THEM, BUT THEN, THAT IS THOUGHT OF AS 'GHETTO' BY PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT BEEN IN A RESTUARANT WITH A MADMEN SHOOTING UP THE PLACE ....PERIOD, NO MATTER WHERE HE IS SHOOTING, BUT TO THEN SEEK VENGENCE ON THE WHOLE FAMILY: GANG-WARFARE AND ALL THAT'S GHETTO, GHETTO, GHETTO!!! PALESTINE: THAT'S GHETTO!! AMERICA HAS ENOUGH MOVIES ABOUT LIFE IN THE GHETTO, (WE HAVE ENOUGH GHETTOS) THEREFORE, THESE PEOPLE WERE JUST SPEAKING A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE BUT IT WAS STILL GHETTO. I AGREE, THIS MOVIE WAS OVER-RATED BY CRITICS. I WAS REALLY HOPING FOR SOMETHING FAR MORE INTRIGUING. BUT I KNOW THEY ARE GIVING HIGH RATINGS TO ISRAEL TO SUPPORT THEIR MOVIEDOM. JUST DO THE SAME FOR PALESTINE WHEN THEY GET THEIRS UP AND RUNNING AND I SUGGEST A LOVE STORY LIKE THAT MOVIE ABOUT THE LEMON TREES WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA: A ROMANTIC COMEDY EVEN IN THE MIDST OF A STUPID WAR. THAT IS WHAT AMERICANS WANT TO SPEND THEIR MONEY TO SEE ABOUT ISRAEL OR PALESTINE. MAYBE IT WILL GIVE SOMEBODY SOME BETTER IDEAS ABOUT HOW TO LIVE. --MO Full Review

MISSOPINE

Just the kind of self-immolating trash that regularly comes out of Israel, courtesy of an arts funding system over there that outdoes the US's National Endowment for the Arts for backing anyone who wa... nts to P-ss on their country. Oh, wait, I forgot that the Arab member of the duo who made this piece of trash rejected the fawning prizes heaped on him as an Israeli filmmaker, saying that he was not an Israeli, after all. Very overrated by critics. Movie was not cohesive, ideas jumped. The cast relationships were not well defined and the time line for the movie was poorly done and confusing.
