Highbrow campus-comedy from long-lost Whit Stillman is a flawed but frequently hilarious comeback. show more
How much you enjoy Damsels will depend on your tolerance for Stillman's particular brand of duct-taped Sperry Topsider whimsy. It's a comedy! It's a musical! It's a trip down memory lane to revisit the blissful confusion of our - or someone's - college years! show more
I am a 63 year old woman, who went to college in the 60\'s. First a Catholic Women\'s college on the San Francisco peninsula, then San Jose State(when SDS and Juan Carlos were there) then UCSC. This brought back many vivid memories of those college days, frats, mixers at Stanford, USF, Moraga, rival colleges-Mills. Our self pretentious selves, oh happy days.

terrible, pathetic, slow and plain boring.
