Plot Summary

Tuck, Munch and Alex are a trio of inseparable friends whose lives are about to change. Their neighborhood is being destroyed by a highway construction project that is forcing their families to move away. But just two days before they must part ways, the boys begin receiving a strange series of signals on their phones. Convinced something bigger is going on, they team up with another school friend, Emma, and set out to look for the source of their phone signals.  What they discover is something beyond their wildest imaginations: a small alien who has become stranded on Earth.  In need of their help, the four friends come together to protect the alien and help him find his way home.  This journey, full of wonder and adventure, is their story, and their secret.

This movie was a complete waste of money not to mention a wasted afternoon. Taking the grandchildren to the movies is an investment nowadays but usually enjoyed by all and worth the cost. This was a disappointment to say the least.

Thanksgiving came early this year. This movie was a real turkey, to say the least. I've never written a review before. This is my first, but I thought it was my duty to save you the agony, let alone the expense, of watching this movie. T he actors were amaturish. They stole the plot from E.T.. Back in the 80's and 90's there was a slew of kids-saving-aliens movies which were not particularly any good and I didn't think it could be done, but this one was even worse. The production company saved a whole lot of money by filming the whole thing with a cell phone. Not really, but that's what they wanted it to appear to be. That's why it was jerking all over the place. You get shots of kid's feet, the ground, and so on. Probably the most expense of the whole movie was Randy Disher, the lieutenant from the Monk tv series. Bad acting, bad photography, and the sound track was nothing to write home about. You couldn't ask for more. So take my advice and stay away from this turkey. It's not even worth renting. I wish I had my $22.50 back.

I should have read the reviews before watching this movie. Neither my husband nor I could watch this movie because of the shakiness of the filming. I would definitely say do not watch this movie. It was a waste of money. It could have been a great film if they simply used a tripod instead of the hand held cameras. I really wish they would stop trying to film movies like this.
