Plot Summary
Filmmaker Eric Daniel Metzger's documentary follows New York Times correspondent Nicholas Kristof -- a two-time Pulitzer Prize-winner whose reportage brought global attention to the crisis in Darfur -- as he travels to the Democratic Republic of Congo. Kristof hope to put the spotlight on the humanitarian plight in the DRC, just as he did with Darfur, yet becomes painfully aware of the flaws of modern journalism, in which high-quality reporting is subverted by quick-format blog coverage.
