Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner both have the dubious distinction of being Ben Affleck's exes. Now, Lopez has revealed that she and Garner also share a mutual dislike for their former flame's highly-publicized (and much-maligned) phoenix tattoo, and the singer-actress didn't mince any words when discussing the ink in a new interview.

Lopez stopped by "Watch What Happens Live" this week and answered a series of silly questions posed by host Andy Cohen during the show's "Plead the Fifth" segment. But easily the best query centered around Affleck's giant back tattoo, of which Cohen asked Lopez her honest opinion.

"It's awful!" the actress exclaimed when shown the now-infamous paparazzi shot of the garish ink, adding with a laugh, "What are you doing?!"

"I mean, I would tell him that," Lopez continued. "I would tell him, 'What are you doing?' It has too many colors. His tattoos always have too many colors. They shouldn't be so colorful. You know what I mean? They should be cooler."

Affleck's soon-to-be-ex-wife Garner also agrees with that assessment, though she was a bit more diplomatic in her choice of words on the subject. When asked about the phoenix imagery, Garner told Vanity Fair that she didn't think the supposed symbolism was apt.

"You know what we would say in my hometown about that? 'Bless his heart,'" Garner told the magazine. "A phoenix rising from the ashes. Am I the ashes in this scenario? I take umbrage. I refuse to be the ashes."
