The post-apocalyptic world of "The 100" will be back in February.

The CW announced midseason premiere dates for several returning shows, including the sci-fi drama, which returns Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 9 p.m. It takes the place of fall freshman "Frequency"; its fate and that of fellow newbie "No Tomorrow are unclear. But poor ratings and lack of buzz point to cancellations for both.

The series finale of "The Vampire Diaries" airs Friday, March 10. Spinoff "The Originals" takes its 8 p.m. timeslot the following week. "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" ends its second season Friday, Feb. 3, and "Reign" slides into its place the following week.

The CW will debut one new series in midseason -- "Riverdale," an edgy take on the Archie comics gang. It premieres Thursday, Jan. 26 at 9 p.m.

The last outstanding returning series is "iZombie," and fans will have wait until Tuesday, April 4 at 9 p.m. for its third season.
