Can't get enough "Star Wars"? Disney is counting on it.

Not only is Rian Johnson creating an entirely new "Star Wars" movie trilogy, a live-action TV show is coming, too. And it will be one of the premier offerings of Disney's planned streaming service.

The company's chairman and CEO Bob Iger announced that project and others on a quarterly earnings call with investors today. Disney is leaning heavily on its hit properties to boost the streaming service, which will launch by the end of 2019.

The biggest project, of course, is the live-action "Star Wars" TV series, which has been long in the making. So far, the franchise has only spawned animated TV shows, the well-regarded "Star Wars Rebels" and "Clone Wars." It's unclear if the live-action series would be tied to the episodic Skywalker saga, or explore new corners of the galaxy, as Johnson's new trilogy will.

The other projects include shows based on "High School Musical" (a fourth movie is already in the works) and Pixar's "Monster's Inc.," as well as a project from Marvel.

Marvel has numerous TV series spread across multiple platforms, including Disney-owned ABC's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," Netflix's "Defenders" lineup, "The Gifted" and "Legion" on Fox and FX, and the upcoming "Runaways" on Hulu. One property without a home is "New Warriors," which cut ties with Freeform (also a Disney asset), but word was that Marvel did not want to wait until 2019 to debut it.
