Six months into her prison sentence, and Abby Lee Miller seems to be doing really well.

The former "Dance Moms" star offered a window into her new life in prison on Sunday via Instagram, sharing a photo from the facility as well as a lengthy post about her experience. Although the famed dance instructor says being sent there "flipped [her world] upside down," she credits the experience with making her a better person. She looks happy and healthy.

Miller, who received a 366-day sentence after pleading guilty to bankruptcy fraud, maintains that she "trusted the wrong people." However, she also says she is "more than sorry" for her mistakes and is "feeling great and ready to turn over a new leaf."

"I have made friends with both inmates and staff, I've tried to better myself, participated in anything offered to me and I am a better person for this experience," she wrote, in part.

Miller began serving her sentence in July, and ET reported Friday that she could be released next month. So far, Miller's release date has not been confirmed.
