Are you ready to pay more to Netflix and chill, and then not share any feedback about it? You're in luck!

These changes may not affect your Netflix experience, but just in case, here's what's up:

GOODBYE, ONLINE REVIEWS:

Netflix is shutting down, in stages, the desktop-only feature allowing users to post reviews. According to CNET, users won't be able to post reviews after July 30. And then in mid-August, users won't be able to even read the existing reviews. They will be gone.

Why? Netflix spokesperson Smita Saran told CNET, "This feature is only offered on the website and has seen declining usage over time." Apparently the reviews weren't very influential, but it's a shame for the people who enjoyed writing and reading them. What were they hurting?

FYI, the thumbs up and down system is staying put.

HELLO, 'ULTRA' TRIAL:

Now on to the "Ultra" high-end streaming plan. According to Variety, Netflix is testing two versions of a new plan to see if users are willing to pay more for it:

"The Ultra plans cost $16.99 per month and is being tested in two versions. One offers four Ultra HD streams, while the existing $13.99 Premium plan would drop from four to two UHD streams. In the second offer, both Premium and Ultra customers would have access to four concurrent Ultra HD streams but only Ultra customers would have access to high dynamic range (HDR) content, which provides more vibrant color reproduction and higher contrast."

So Netflix wants to see how much users value HDR vs. four-stream access. Netflix said only a subset of users will be shown the higher-priced options in the Ultra trial, and they may not decide to go forward with it after the tests.

After a price hike last year, Netflix's two-stream HD tier is now $10.99 per month and the Premium plan is $13.99 per month. The basic single-stream plan is still $7.99.
