The "Stranger Things" kids have quite the defender in Sophie Turner.

The actress, who plays Sansa Stark on "Game of Thrones," spoke out in defense of the young actors following an incident that drew criticism from "Stranger Things" fans. Online backlash started after a now-deleted video showed Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler) walking into a hotel without stopping to greet the fans waiting outside, according to E! News. After Turner saw the complaints, she stepped in to defend Wolfhard and his young co-stars.

The big takeaway from Turner's message was that "they are kids first" and shouldn't "owe anyone anything for living their childhood dreams." She laid it out in a series of at least 11 tweets, pointing out how "weird" it was to see adults waiting for a child outside their hotel, then lashing out when the young actor wouldn't stop for them. She also asked people to imagine how they'd feel as parents if their 13-year-old children had strangers pointing cameras at them.

Turner knows what it is like to be in Wolfhard's place. She gained fame on "Game of Thrones" at just 15, meaning she spent the majority of her teenage years in the public eye. Fame's not all fun and games, that's for sure.
