Toni Braxton's roller-coaster life, from singing fame to struggles with illness, finances, divorce and her son's autism, will now become fodder for an original TV movie on Lifetime.
"Un-Break My Heart," based on her memoir, begins filming later this year and will be directed by "Daredevil" actor Vondie Curtis-Hall, who directed Lifetime's 2012 movie "Abducted: The Carlina White Story,"
Braxton will serve as an executive producer and also appear in the movie, with the script by Susan McMartin.
"Un-Break My Heart" is the second TV biopic on a singer. NBC will air "Coat Of Many Colors" about the life of Dolly Parton.
