Disney's upcoming live-action remake of animated classic "Lady and the Tramp" is continuing to shore up its cast, this time adding a human character to the mix.

Variety reports that Yvette Nicole Brown is joining the ensemble, which is headlined by Tessa Thompson (voicing Lady) and Justin Theroux (voicing Tramp). Brown will be playing Aunt Sarah, an imposing figure from the 1955 original whose cruel actions put in motion the meet-cute between the titular characters.

In the first film, Lady, a pampered Cocker Spaniel, is left in the care of Aunt Sarah, whose mischievous Siamese cats wreck the house and make it seem as if Lady attacked them. Enraged, Aunt Sarah drags Lady to a pet shop for a muzzle, but Lady escapes, and bumps into charming stray Tramp on the street. Cue adorable pasta-sharing.

Brown is the first non-canine to be announced among the cast. In addition to leads Thompson and Theroux, their pooch pals will be voiced by  Benedict Wong (playing an English bulldog named Bull),  Kiersey Clemons (playing Darling), and Ashley Jensen (playing Scottish terrier Jackie, a gender swap from the 1955 version's Jock).

"Lady and the Tramp" will be the first Disney original launching exclusively on the Mouse House's upcoming streaming service. Both are expected to debut sometime in 2019.
