1. Mel, Murphy and Twist
It's Pete's first day at Dogs Trust, and he meets a pug facing a worrying surgery and pregnant dog who was seized at the border.
2. The Potato Pups
Pete meets a litter of puppies known as the Potato Pups, who were found abandoned in a crisp box, and helps the staff fight to keep them alive.
3. Dave and Olive
Pete meets a puppy who needs urgent treatment for a badly broken leg and a young Doberman who has spent most of her life in quarantine kennels.
4. Colm, Ruby, Tammy... and Mel
Pete travels to Northern Ireland to pick up three stray dogs and bring them back with him to Essex. He also meets a Shar Pei who is in constant pain and may need surgery.
