We meet, greet and hit the beat with the dynamic duo of Provincial Inspectors Visser and van Rooyen, and ride along with the power pairing of Provincial Inspectors Olivier and Philander as they arrest Tuesday morning drinkers, assist motorists after a bumper bash and do all they can to keep Cape Town freeways flowing.
3. Rescues, Risks, and Rewards
PI Hopa races through N1 rush-hour traffic to rescue a pedestrian hit by a car. SPI Swanepoel confronts impatient drivers taking chances and risking lives in Worcester. While SPI Willemse refreshes the memory of motorists disregarding the rules of the road in Laingsburg.
4. Why You Shouldn't Drink and Drive
Senior Provincial Inspector Willemse leaps into action when a dodgy driver smashes into a stop-go on the N1 outside Laingsburg. Provincial Inspector Hopa guards a stranded stressed-out traditional healer on Heritage Day. And PI Pietersen enforces the law without fear or favours to drivers of battered old backies and sparkling supercars alike on a sunny Sunday in Worcester.
5. No Holiday on the Highways
With Schools out and holiday makers flooding the freeways, there's no rest for the inspectors of the Western cape hightway patrol. In the west coast, PI Ruiters and sisters from Saldanha come together to celebrate wome's Day with a lady's roadblock, and PI Oliver and PI Philander arrest under-the-influence drivers and chasing fleeing taxis at a roadblock in Gouda and get drenched to the bon.
