Well-done as in acting and the script was just about great but since I'm now reading \"READING LOLITA IN TEHRAN\" by Azar Nafisi, a... or of literature in Iran and in America and her \"masterpieces\", as they are called, are written about living under a religious regime where women can be beaten, raped repeatedly, and even shot for showing strands of hair or leg or arm. It increased the intensity of the film for me that the girls could be taken away at any time. Even so, they took off all but their bra and panties and jump into the ocean for a swim even after they have already been arrested by family-male-member contrivances. Yes, but then, when you hear that an uncle was told to bring the deed to his house to save the life of one of them well sure I'm mad at the regime but even madder at the girl. I don't like that kind of thing. Acting out your youth in my book is not that important where you put your entire family in a lurch. Well, the uncle said he'd get rid of his problem and he did. He married her off but the husband had problems too so he had to get with the control. Lesbian behavior? Yes. But me, I could have easily written it off as youthful behavior searching for Self but under a regime where the moral police can arrest you for just about anything and you don't know if you'll ever see daylight again -- so says the book I'm reading: well, forget youthful enthusiasm especially enthusiasm that is extreme. I loved this movie. Funny, sexy, drama, all under one roof. Iranian movie ******** best.
