Plot Summary
Independent American reporter Michael Ruppert is the subject of this documentary, which looks at how the ex-police officer managed to predict the massive Wall Street crash of 2008 years before it happened. The film delves into what led Ruppert to foresee the financial crisis, as well as his grim worldview, which envisions more economic disasters. The production also sheds light on Ruppert's own personal woes, which appear to be closely linked to his status as the bearer of bad news.

  • It would have been helpful had Smith put his words into some sort of context, allowing others to assess his theories. Instead there's simply Ruppert, talking, raging and warning, as if his very life depended on it. show more

  • If nothing else, while watching Ruppert, you'll believe he believes this stuff. show more

  • I don't know when I've seen a thriller more frightening. I couldn't tear my eyes from the screen. Collapse is even entertaining, in a macabre sense. I think you owe it to yourself to see it. show more
