Pure grindhouse, so committed to its own junkiness that it is, in its way, a pleasure to behold. show more

Director Patrick Lussier and his co-screenwriter Todd Farmer string together smash-up car chases, hyper-violent physical clashes, flying viscera and a dollop of sex and nudity with ludicrous dialogue and only a passing concern for logic in this high-octane trash. show more

Hands down the number one action film of 2011. This was Cage's best performance since playing the role of Eddie in the hit film Deadfall back in 1993. I would recommend this to anyone who considers his or herself a human being. The only complaint I had was that Nick Cage wasn't in every single scene.

This movie has a blend of Quentin Tarantino\'s style laced with cocaine...lol... Imagine \"From Dusk Till Dawn\" crossed with \"Shoot Em\' Up\" and this film is that..I thought it was pretty darn good but they could\'ve left out all of the sex scenes because a movie like this would be even better without that. It is worth the watch if you like cynicism, comedy, and action/adventure!!!
