Very, very funny and heartfelt. Written by ace TV writer Ann Marcus, For Heaven's Sake also touched my heart. Marcus is a talented writer who knows... the mediums of both TV and film. In this movie she moves from a funny scene to a dramatic scene with great ease and skill. The director, Nat Christian, masterfully choreographs the story so that the viewer is always wanting a bit more. His actors are free, funny and very real. Florence Henderson is very effective as a grandmother who dies, goes to heaven, but manages to talk her way back to earth to see her granddaughter just one more time. Heaven is a mess of a place with bureaucrats running amok. It's very funny. Beautiful Allison Lange plays a younger Florence with a style and a charm that is delightful. David Paetkau is wonderful as her husband. Young Stephanie Patton is fantastic as the granddaughter. Talented Yaani King and Kathryn Gordon round out the cast. Full Review
