an excellent movie that makes you think about it long after it's over. reminds of the Decalogue of Kieslowski. The Polish cinema did it again! not a light movie though. excellent actors. five stars

It was a great movie. It ended to soon and abruptly, but powerfully. I have to see it again to fully digest the message and story.

I just don't get where the reviewers feel this is a masterpiece of beauty and cinema excellent. They must be the same folk who think swimming in Lake Michigan in mid-winter is refreshing! This movie is dark beyond dark and depressing. After leaving the theater, get the vodka out as you'll need it.
