Patients at the Salvation Army's Toronto Grace Health Centre share personal stories and engage in simple pleasures, such as reading and spending time with friends. However, they have been admitted to the Palliative Care Unit, where the treatment aims to reduce suffering in terminal patients. While there is little hope for recovery, their reminiscences about the past and enjoyment of the present are reminders that death is a normal part of life, and that death can have dignity.
