The movie does sends off the message. Similar issues like that does happen in reality, and it could be in any race. It was disturbing and sad based on what Precious went through. The movie would of be... en better if the profanity were to be left out for spiritual folks to watch. Now I could understand that Precious didn't believe in abortions, she should of put her kids up for adoption. Imagine explaining to the kids that their grandfather is really their father. And it's disgusting and very vulgar for someone to terrorize their child in that way. And I could just see in the mother that she was very weak on the inside just showing signs of coward-ness and stupidity. And drugs is not a excuse. She couldn't be mad at the father, like pulling out a baseball bat or crowbar to split his head wide open then call the cops, but she takes all her anger out on her daughter (Precious), the helpless innocent one to her. And Precious should have opened her mouth more and much sooner to the point that her father wouldn't of raped her for the second time, then catch HIV from him. The grandmother was even weak as the mousy type and dumb, scared of the mother. The grandmother could of at least called the cops to have the father looked up after he first raped Precious, and shouldn't even care how her actions were going to effect the mother. Full Review

this may not be real but and since it's still possible this is a good way to learn how to press charges against it. run away. i don't like anti justice of any kind ! and they used to put this stuff on... the kids section of demand once. asking if this movie is kid friendly. not to me and i only saw the previews of it. it may not be real. and thank god for goes around comes around :) and yet people make it sound like that family is always a good thing. and i never always believed that :l Full Review

I could not believe this movie was made. I never saw anything stereo typing black people in a worse way then this piece of garbage. From the smoking of Newports to the pig knuckle dinners if anything ... was proven here it is that Mel Brooks couldn't have written better satire. 15 year old black girl raped by her father twice has two kids with mothers knowledge and "Mom" blames the kid. Fat black girl steals a ten piece bucket of chicken..Mom smokes newports and lives off the Wellfare. One kid is a mongaloid so they name her "Mongo" This is not a movie of stength, it is a movie of celebrating stupidity. Full Review
